Peter Csere Explores Cryptocurrencies; Ken Love on His Love of Fruit; Danielle McGrogran on Gender Transition; Nicolas Dudet Shares Transformation Story; Alicia Grant Focuses on Gemstones; Karen Ranzi on Women’s Health; Brian Rossiter on Why Postural Alignment Therapy Trumps Yoga
Hello, readers! I hope you’re starting 2018 on a high note and are ready to rock! Last year, I plowed through challenge after challenge but have emerged stronger, wiser and more determined than ever to meet my many goals!
This winter 2018 issue—Issue 51—represents the most groundbreaking in the five-plus-year history of Fruit-Powered Magazine. The depth and breadth of stories is remarkable, and I hope you get a lot out of it and enjoy the contributions many have made in the production of this magazine.
If you value Fruit-Powered Magazine‘s content, which calls for a significant time and money investment to produce and is made freely available to all so that it may have the greatest impact in and on the world, please consider donating $10 annually to keep the magazine running and its publisher fed with bananas and grapes. 🙂 Gifts are available for those wishing to contribute at least $50. The Magazine serves thousands of readers globally, but few choose to support the magazine. Other news media organizations, including most independently produced, alternative information sources just like Fruit-Powered Magazine, face revenue challenges as advertising dollars online shrink. Your donation is important! I hope to be able to receive donations via cryptocurrencies soon.
Sweet on Fruit-Powered Magazine?
Speaking of which, cryptocurrencies have dominated the news in recent weeks. I asked Peter Csere, who I’ve seen dive into cryptocurrencies on Facebook, if he’d like to share this issue’s In Season story. Peter came back with a highly informative piece that digs deep and pulls no punches in exposing how fiat currencies have held back most people from accumulating wealth for their labor while revealing how “How Cryptocurrencies Such As Bitcoin Can Change the World” just as they’ve helped him with some big, bold life moves, also in changing the world.
Ken Love is a well-recognized figure in the fruit community and has been known to cross a pond or two to feast on succulent fruits. The seeds for his Closeup interview were planted going on five years ago, so it’s high time we chatted. Ken shares some colorful stories in pulling back the curtain on why fruit has such as special place in his heart—and on his tastebuds. He also shares his list of favorite fruits in “Ken Love in Worldwide Pursuit of the Choicest Fruits.”
I met Danielle McGrogan four years ago when she was known as Dan McGrogan. I am always amazed at this soulful individual’s grace and presence and have learned lots from spending time together on occasional visits to each other’s neck of Penn’s Woods. Danielle is the owner of Nucleus Raw Foods in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, and she’s showing folks of all dietary stripes just what a raw food diet and food combining can do for their health. Read her story in “Danielle McGrogan Rises Against All Odds in Gender Transition.”
Nicolas Dudet exudes wisdom behind his years and is a shining example of what a low-fat raw food diet can do for a person’s health and outlook on life. I enjoy seeing what Nicolas is up to on social media, and as the months tick by, I grow more excited to know that such a young person is learning so much so quickly. Nicolas shares a powerful story, “Nicolas Dudet Is Mastering Freedom on a Fruit-Based Lifestyle,” the 109th Transformation story published in Fruit-Powered Magazine. Additionally, enjoy Nicolas Dudet’s Top 5 Tips for Health and his recipe for Papaya with Passion Fruit.
In the Insight from Raw Leaders department, Alicia Grant steers her focus on an area I’ve been longing to study more and have dabbled in only seldomly: gemstones and crystals. I learned from someone special just more than five years ago that “Everything is energy.” Discover in Alicia’s sterling story, in which she paints such a vivid picture of her introduction to precious stones, how “Gemstones and Crystals Can Raise Our Vibration.
Also in the Insight from Raw Leaders department, Karen Ranzi puts a lens on the state of women’s health in “Solving Women’s Health Concerns Naturally.” The guidance of medical professionals, as you’ll see in an example outlined in the story, isn’t in women’s best interests. Knowing this, educating ourselves and adopting a low-fat raw vegan lifestyle is our best bet to improve our health and lead happy lives.
Finally, I zero in again on my Posture Exercises Method, this time examining how it’s superior to yoga when it comes to addressing the cause of chronic pain and correcting joint alignment and posture. If you’re exploring or practicing yoga and not making the deep strides you’re looking for in eliminating back pain, hip pain, knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome or other symptoms—or reaching the athletic goals you’d like to achieve—you’ll definitely want to have a look at why this is the case in “Postural Alignment Therapy Is Better Than Yoga for Chronic Pain Relief.”
Finally, now’s the time of year when many are looking to ditch the fatty foods that got them into trouble over the holiday season. If you have your sights set on being mostly or wholly raw and need the eyes of wisdom lighting your way, I’d be happy to be your guide. I can make your transition natural and simple in my Fruit-Powered Lifestyle Coaching Program!
Thrive this winter! 🙂
