New Year’s Reflections and Looking Forward
Hello, readers. Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed the holidays and have had some time to reflect on 2012 and look forward to 2013.
I sure enjoyed reflecting on 2012. It was the most spectacular year of my life, and I achieved lots of goals by launching Fruit-Powered.com, Fruit-Powered Magazine and Fruit-Powered Video as well as writing Alive! and editing The Way of Arnold.
To top it all off, I met the love of my life and star in my sky, Anna Chmielewska. Anna and I have big plans to collaborate on all kinds of projects connected to raw food and healthful living. Anna aspires to grow her website, SweetVeganNature.com, in the coming months as well as write a book.
I’d like to thank my great friend Arnold Kauffman of Arnold’s Way, a raw food café in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, for his love, vision and tireless work ethic. All these wonderful things in my life wouldn’t be possible without Arnold’s influence. Arnold planted a raw food seed in my head in 2002, and only when I went 100 percent raw did all kinds of magic happen in my life. Let this serve as food for thought this New Year’s for you, in case you’re exploring or already transitioning to a raw lifestyle. If you haven’t made a New Year’s resolution, how about having green smoothies every day for a month? This could be your first step to feeling Fruit-Powered and supercharging your life!
I am jazzed about 2013! A couple of weeks ago, Anna suggested she and I make a gratitude jar in which we’d each drop in every day a reminder about what we’re thankful for. We plan to fill a jar with our daily reminders and look back on it at the end of the year and on days we’re feeling extra grateful or might need a special lift. We also have achievements and dreams jars.
This year, I will add more pages to Fruit-Powered.com and bring you more Fruit-Powered Videos while continuing to tell stories and share tips, recipes and more in Fruit-Powered Magazine. Stay tuned for more products from Arnold Kauffman and me in 2013 as well as news from Anna!
