Vitamix Vs. Breville
In offering my take on the Vitamix vs Breville blender comparison, I can state that, based on my experience in using three Vitamix models, the Breville blender definitely comes out on top.
Here are the key reasons why. My Vitamix 5200 blender, containing a tall container, was my first high-powered blender, and it performed very well overall but struggled to blend grape skins well. It wasn’t until I bought a Vitamix 6500 blender, containing a short container, that I realized grape skins could actually be blended better, with this model turning grapes into a thick and flowable juice, enabling me to enjoy grape smoothies much more regularly. My Vitamix 6500 blender, however, didn’t measure up to my Vitamix 5200 in blending nuts and seeds when making salad dressings. My Vitamix 6500 blender was also hard to work with when it came to blending salad dressings and sauces that would run about 12 ounces or less.
With my Breville Super Q blender, however, everything comes out as world-class blends and mixes.
Which is what you’d expect for any blender fetching about $500.
Based on my experience, this Breville blender is a cut above any Vitamix blender I’ve owned and used.
What Is the Best Blender?
If you’re in the market for a new blender, you certainly might be wondering: What is the best blender?
When I purchased my Breville Super Q, I was immediately impressed by how well it tackled every job I threw at it. I made fruit smoothies, green smoothies, nut- and seed-based salad dressings, sauces such as sun-dried-tomato-infused marinara sauce and ground up nuts and seeds, and in every case, the Super Q proved to be up to the task.
In fact—after owning Vitamix 5200 and Vitamix 6500 models as well as using another Vitamix model, Blendtec WildSide blenders and Waring blenders while working at two raw cafés for two years in the mid-2010s—the Breville Super Q blender is the only blending machine I could ever say this about.
Thus, based on my experience in owning and using other high-powered blenders since June 2010, I can answer the question “What is the best blender?” by pointing to the Super Q.
Breville Vac Q Review
As good as it is, the Breville Super Q blender is able to deliver even better blends when you use the Breville Vac Q attachment. The Breville Vac Q is an easy-to-operate vacuum pump that extracts the air from the jug for a blend that is extra smooth, extra creamy and extra tasty.
Enjoy deeper colors and flavors in all your fruit smoothies and green smoothies—and take your salad dressings, sauces and soups to the next level!
I used my Super Q blender for several days before a Vac Q fan told me on social media that this attachment is a worthwhile investment. From my first green smoothie made using this tool, I was a believer!
The Super Q blender and Breville Vac Q have combined to make simply the best blender-made raw food recipes I’ve ever enjoyed!
